Randomize or changing copy each time customer enters the same canvas
Hi guys! I'm trying to build a canvas with a single message step (email), in which I want the subject line to be different each time a recipient becomes re-eligible to enter and receive the email. I'm thinking of altering between 10 different subject lines, so as not to tire the recipients. Do you have any recommendations on how I could build the canvas/liquid to do this without having to manually edit it when it's live? Is there a way to line up a que of different copy and have the recipient see the next one in the que each time the enter the canvas/step?1.4KViews0likes12CommentsLearning Braze
Hi Everyone, I am new to Braze and start learning through Documentation that has been provided by Braze. I was trying to get into some courses for campaign and Canvas flow creation steps and exploration. Can someone help me with how to get started with courses access as I am not a premium user to Braze but want to get certified first and then deep dive in to more. I am trying to build a canvas that: Is triggered by a custom event. I want that to create a content card. I want that particular content card to be available for 60 days. I can't quite figure out how to do this. The canvas should really last 120 days, but at 60 days in, I want to create a new content card with different content, and repeat the above by keeping it available for 60 days. Is there a way to achieve this in the canvas builder?1.1KViews0likes7CommentsLook up campaign and canvas by ID
In addition to searching for a campaign or canvas by name to search by ID. It'd help to eliminate a couple of steps when troubleshooting. Example: Today we had a minor import error for a specific canvas. The canvas ID was available but the canvas name was not in the file exported from Braze. I tried pasting the canvas ID into the search and got no results. I had to use an API call to find the Canvas name and then paste it into the search.Solved1.1KViews0likes6CommentsHow to loop products from added_item_to_cart events in an email?
Hello Experts, I am building my first canvas journey in Braze for an Abandoned cart use case. I am using an email channel as a message in this use case. In my scenario, I have added 2 products to the cart and I want to print those two products by email. The issue I am facing is how to print these products via event using a for loop. I have tried Advanced Event Properties. But It just prints item_name. How do we know which item it is from the event? There could be 2 or more products in the event The learning section here only shows the push notification which is easy to configure.1KViews0likes9CommentsSchedule action based canvas on weekdays only
Hi I have an action based canvas triggered by an event that I would like to send on weekdays only (Mon to Fri). Those that are eligible to get the send on a weekend, I would like the message to be delayed until Monday, so I can't use abort message as it would just cancel the send. The canvas is triggered by an event so it can't be managed at an entry schedule level. Does anyone have any suggestion on how this can be achieved? Thanks YusufSolved800Views0likes6CommentsDynamic API Triggered Canvas
I want to trigger a Canvas using an API but also have that Canvas fire a Webhook message at the end of processing. I would like to pass in some information in the API trigger payload that would dynamically switch the Canvas between two webhook messages. Since I cant use an api_triggered_property in a webhook message URL, I need another way to dynamically set a callback URL for the inbound API call. Is there any way to use an api_triggered_property in an API Triggered Canvas to make a decision within that Canvas? Any workarounds that anyone can share? Hey, I have a Custom Event : User Created with an event property account_type : free/paid I want to split my Canvas to create two different flows for each account_type. I found a way to split a canvas based on a user property or an action taken after the canvas entry. But I can't find a way to split the canvas based on thecanvas_entry_properties. Does someone know how to do this ? I don't want to create two separate canvas. Thanks a lot, Matthias622Views0likes7CommentsConversion Events and Exit Criteria on Canvases
Hi everyone! With my team we are starting to implement some journeys on Braze, and I was sure that when a user performs a conversion event defined in said Canvas, they will exit the canvas and stop receiving any further messages. Is this correct? In your canvases do you have any case where you used a conversion event, and then defined it as an exit criteria? Thanks!613Views0likes4Comments
