We collect NPS / customer satisfaction data through a custom Braze in-app message and pipe it to Amplitude. To your point, custom is not that easy to build but Braze has the ability in the box to create these. You could also create custom quizzes but for simplicity, there is the Simple Survey IAM option which is quite easy to work with. I am happy to go into more detail if you need.
