Cookies on Braze - How are they used?
We have noticed that our CMP acceptance of cookies seems to be having some impact on our Content Cards and IAM showing to users. We are noticing a dip in people receiving these on both Web and Mobile...
Without the details on which CMP (Consent Management Planform) you are using, how it is configured, and how the Braze SDK is loaded, I would say that from your description, it sounds like you are not loading the Braze SDK when consent has not been collected or has been rejected (the Braze SDK is subject privacy consent via your CMP)- This would the expected behavior to comply with privacy / consent laws.
How it behaves will depend on how you have your privacy / consent configured in your consent platform (CMP), and that will depend on how strictly your organization is going follow the privacy laws you are subject to (what level of risk/reward they will accept).
