20 TopicsGuidance on Limiting Audience per Experiment Path in Canvas
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some guidance on a use case I'm currently working on. I want to implement a spinning wheel IAM using a single Canvas that includes 5 experiment paths. The goal is to limit the number of users entering each path — for example: Offer A (Path A): 150 users Offer B (Path B): 100 users And so on... While the experiment path node in Canvas allows user distribution using percentage splits, I’ve found that it doesn't always behave as expected — especially with small total audience sizes (e.g. 10–20 users). During a live test with internal team members, the users were not evenly distributed across paths, despite using balanced percentage settings. My questions: Is there a minimum user count required for the experiment path % splits to work accurately? Is there any official documentation explaining how this percentage-based distribution works under the hood? As an alternative, I’m considering building 5 separate Canvases or campaigns, each with entrance caps to control how many users receive each offer. However, it would be ideal if Canvas supported audience caps per path directly. Any tips, documentation, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! How can we set the unsubscribe to only remove the user from the specific subscription group? We don't want to do this through a preference center. We just want to have a link that automatically removes the user from the specific subscription group that the email was sent to. Also, when importing users via CSV that could be in multiple subscription groups should we handle the subscription_group_id to ensure that overlapping users remain subscribed to both lists? Is it automatic? Or would it override each other?10Views0likes1CommentForward utm parameters from landing page
Hi team -- We are now adopting landing pages in order to drive paid media to a lead capture form but want to be able to forward the utm parameters of the affiliate link that drove there so it continues to get the attribution. For example google vs. facebook vs. tiktok Is there a way you can think of for a Braze Landing Page to forward these utm parameters or capture them upon landing and pass them when a user subsequently gets redirected site? I can only think of doing it generic based on like utm_medium=affiliate but would prefer to give the right attribution to the right ad partner if that makes sense. One solution could be using a different landing page for each paid media partner but with a limit of 5 landing pages that seems not scalable or reasonable. Thanks friends :)190Views1like2CommentsSystem-led QA with Braze
Hi there! Our team has had a few incidents where emails have been sent to the wrong audience (i.e. filtering didn't save, filtering never added, duplicate tabs open, etc). We've implemented a number of human-led QA processes (see below) but we want to implement system-level guardrails as well. Does anyone know of a) Braze features that would let us do this or b) hacky ways that involve our engineering team? Any/all help would be GREATLY appreciated! What we plan to implement: formal QA process (including live QA) Braze approval process Audience and rate limits Datadog alerts for post launch if anything sends to audience >10K74Views0likes1CommentHow Do I Access the Braze Practitioner Cert Study PDF?
