Using a catalog to populate a push based on date
Hi. I created a catalog in Braze with 3 fields: id title preheader The id column is a date yyyy-mm-dd I then created a selection where id equals {{today}} I followed Braze support to use this as my push message: {% catalog_selection_items anchor today %} {{ items[0].preheader }} However, nothing is populating. Does anyone have a solution?amyh2 hours agoCollaborator2Views0likes0CommentsDiscover What’s New with Braze: Q2 2025 Product Release Webinar

Let's say I have a campaign, and it's set up for a certain Custom Event trigger (trigger_a) and set to target a certain Segment segment_a based on a custom attribute. This campaign has a 15 minute delay built in. Let's say a the event trigger_a fires for a certain user, but at the moment the event fires the user is not part of segment_a. If we update the user profile with the relevant custom attribute (thus making them part of segment_a) within that 15 minute delay, will that user receive that campaign? Or do they need to be part of that segment the moment the event fires for that user.cernanb4 days agoCollaborator19Views0likes1CommentCRM & Braze specialist

Hi everybody! We are currently working on a Braze IAM that uses a spin the wheel concept. There are a total of 142 prices that can be won when the wheel is spinned. As thousands of users can receive the IAM, it is crucial that the same price will not be triggered multiple times. Does anybody have any experience with a campaign like this and how did you prevent the price from being triggered multiple times? Our dev team recommended us to use an external solution where it is checked whether a price is still available, but we don't know if there might be something better to use?63Views0likes2CommentsBonfire Meetup London - Panel Discussion with Checkatrade, Costa Coffee, and King.com

Hi all Recently we tried putting a section of liquid + text inside a catalog item but it only rendered as text. I then put it inside a content block and it seemed to render for the first item but if I had two items the second one didn't render. I'm not sure if I'm missing some tricks or it's not possible but I'm currently having issues getting it to render reliably each time. The longer end goal is to render a series of emails based on user paths but use catalogs as the single source of truth for content and avoid going in and out of a canvas. I know I can build the emails with HTML in the canvas and pull in the copy, that works good. Was just testing if I can pull in entire sections of code as well. Open to any advice, tips and tricks. Thanks 😊DavidO7 days agoVisionary899Views0likes5CommentsDetect channel in Content block (push vs email)
Is there a reliable way in Liquid to detect whether a content block is being used in a push message vs. an email message? I know there are some global specific to each channel but I'm curious about the most reliable/supported way to do this in liquid.kvarley7 days agoCollaborator20Views0likes0CommentsStoring Event Data and Using It in a Decision Split - Canvas
Storing Event Data and Using It in a Decision Split I'd like to know if it's possible to set up the following scenario in Canvas. I'm currently sending a custom event with a numeric value related to a purchase. My goal is to store that value so that when a second purchase happens, and the combined total exceeds $50, a Decision Split can send the user down a specific path. For example: If Derek makes a first purchase of $30 and then a second one of $30, the combined total would exceed $50, and he should go down one path. But if Lina makes a $10 purchase followed by another $10 purchase, she wouldn’t meet the threshold and should go down another path. From what I understand, this seems difficult (if not impossible) to do, since Canvas doesn’t store the value of the first purchase while waiting for the second event to arrive.39Views0likes3Comments
