I'm currently exploring the mind-boggling space of CDP's, naturally i'm leaning towards those that are Braze Alloy Partners. I'm putting this out to the community for both some vendor recommendations and some advice/pitfalls when integrating. Having worked directly in previous roles with three different CDPs and in the consideration stage for another (Cue the Floods of sales emails :D) i'm careful to not jump in to a contract that i'll regret. Here is a little bit of background information on how it will be used. Snowflake is the warehouse Multiple Brands (4 with potentially more) Currently only planning to plug Braze in but likely other SaaS will come later (Appsflyer/Analytics tool) Ideally more Marketer friendly (self sufficient) than ongoing need for a data engineer So, with this in mind... 1. Who would you choose, why, what was great, what was not so good, did you feel like you got value for money, was there any nasty surprises down the road. 2. I have had some previous experience with SDK toolkits for certain companies not being updated with Braze recent releases, and meant some new features were not in scope. It's been a long time since I ran two instances of the SDK for various types of features (both direct for say IAMs, Content Cards and CDP toolkit for remainder) - would you advocate for this or am I making my life more difficult than it needs to be? Hi Braze Community, I am scratching my head a bit trying to understand how the Braze SDK does not have an out-of-box feature that automatically associates a session with a specific user post email/sms campaign click. From what I am reading, even after having clicked through a campaign, if a user comes in a private browser or is not cookied Braze will not recognize them until they log in or put their email somewhere onsite. This is hugely challenging for us, and I assume others as we want all email/sms traffic post-click automatically identified to help fuel abandonment flows. The only solution that we have found is surfacing the external id in every campaign URL and calling changeuser once they hit the site referencing their external id in the URL to tie their session to the correct profile. I want to understand if, in the segments module, when I filter my audiences, the total reachable users only considers users with either a valid email address or a push token enabled to receive communications, or all users who generate a user ID in the system, even if I can't reach them. For example, if I have 300,000 users in my database, and only 100,000 have either a valid email address or push tokens enabled, should the segment total show 300,000 or 100,000? Hey everyone! I am wondering if anyone had a similar situation: standard tool for isolating control group (global or Canvas- specific) does not fit my business needs, because I want to measure incremental change of product conversions per B2B subscriber, and each B2B subscriber can have more than 1 employee (aka user ID in Braze). Therefore, there is a risk of having representatives of the same B2B entity in both control and treatment groups. How would you deal with this issue? I have an idea of assigning custom attribute (control_group = true/false) when importing each new user (so that all users within one B2B entity fall into either control or treatment group), but it makes managing campaigns and building reports more complicated. Hi there! I'm new to Braze and recently uploaded a CSV file containing 1.5k email addresses. The import was successful, but when I tried to create a campaign using segments, the email addresses couldn't be found. I included the 'email' column along with randomly generated user alias names and labels in the file.
