Find user in catalog
Hello everyone, I would like to send a message if the zipcode from a user is existing in a catalog. But I am not very technical. I have a catalog : id--zip_code--link ex: 14--13001--https://braze.com I try to make something like: {% if {{custom_attribute.${zip_code}}} == {{catalog.zipcode}} %} Show email {% else %} abort {% endif %} Anyone got the answer? Best regards.Solved19Views0likes5CommentsCanvas error - action path/event properties
Hi all, I'm trying to add a reminder email to an existing Canvas. However, it gives me this error no matter what I do. I've tried adding another action path before the reminder email and also referencing the event property again in the targeting, but no luck. Anyone have an idea?24Views0likes1CommentControl group based on custom attribute
Hey everyone!I am wondering if anyone had a similar situation: standard tool for isolating control group (global or Canvas- specific) does not fit my business needs, because I want to measure incremental change of product conversions per B2B subscriber, and each B2B subscriber can have more than 1 employee (aka user ID in Braze). Therefore, there is a risk of having representatives of the same B2B entity in both control and treatment groups. How would you deal with this issue? I have an idea of assigning custom attribute (control_group = true/false) when importing each new user (so that all users within one B2B entity fall into either control or treatment group), but it makes managing campaigns and building reports more complicated. I'll be grateful for your ideas and sharing your experience. Thank you! :)22Views0likes2CommentsCan not pass Outlook.com spam test
I am having a very difficult time getting my emails delivered to Hotmail, Live etc and now it seems that I have been blocklisted. When i run an Inbox vision test, the spam testing passes on 14 cases but not for "Outlook.com". I can not find any reason why this could be. We have the List-unsubscribe header turned on, there is an unsubscribe link in the email. The content is clean and nice. A test to mail-tester.com scores 10/10. But still the spam check for Outlook.com fails. Is there some secret ingredient everyone else knows about or something you can recommend me checking out? Hey Bonfirers! I have been lax in my posting here and wanted to share a recent post I made on LinkedIn in case it helps! Everything is relative. Even sender reputation! Is yours strong enough to shoulder the (quickly approaching 😩) busiest season of the year? The ability to reach the inboxes of your subscribers depends on a ton of factors, some of which we can't even see and don't know about! FUN! In the absence of that information, we have to concentrate on the things we can control like list quality, mail frequency, volume, and content. When you regularly send to the same folks over and over again, you establish a reputation in relation to that behavior. But when you suddenly send way more than that, the mailbox providers grow concerned (and with good reason!). From a spam filtering & security standpoint, a marked increase in the amount of mail from your domain could mean that an intern made a mistake, or a malicious party has gained access to your credentials and is leveraging your reputation to send out spam or phishing attempts. Mailbox providers might delay delivery to recipients in excess of your usual amount traffic, and/or filter it as spam in an effort to protect your mutual customers. If you want to successfully reach a larger number of subscribers in a timely manner, these tips will give you a boost: 📝 Plan ahead. Create a realistic plan that allows ample time to reach your goals, especially if you'll be widening the audience to include less-engaged contacts. ⚠ Give everyone a heads up. If users will be receiving mail more often, let them know beforehand so they can update their preferences or opt out. Some subscribers may love hearing from you, but only occasionally. An unexpected or unwelcome uptick in messages could contribute to increased spam complaints or decreased engagement, both of which are barriers to continued inbox placement. You can also notify mailbox providers that you'll be sending more mail, which could be helpful context for future filtering decisions. 🐢 Go slowly. Increase your sends gradually, giving the providers and your subscribers time to react. 🖥 Monitor results closely. Keep an eye on delivery, bounce, open, complaint, and (if you have 'em) delay rates. Is mail being delivered? Quickly? Are recipients engaging? Positively? 🎓 Learn from those results. What do the outcomes mean about how you should proceed? Should you keep going, or should you reassess your goals? Let the data guide your decisions. 🍰 Have a treat. This isn't really deliverability advice, but holiday sending during an election year will definitely be challenging, so be nice to yourself and have a piece of cake or a cookie (or some garlic bread if you're a savory girlie/boyee).15Views3likes0CommentsPreference Center Question
Hi there, My team and I just set up a preference center for the first time with our email subscription groups. Does anyone know how to test that the page shows properly and is filtering emails properly through a test email? I wasn't able to figure it out on my own! Thanks all, Lexy M.31Views0likes4CommentsDrag-And-Drop Customisable Content Blocks
Hi there, new to Braze, I want to know if there's a way to create custom Editor Blocks that you can save and add to the drag and drop editor CONTENT section. It could just be a customistable HTML block that you use often. And then when the user pulls it they can make edits and customise it (for that instance only)? I was thinking about using regular content blocks but then a user needs to remember the content block tag and also can't make edits to the block.40Views1like3CommentsWant to send duplicate email but different user profiles.
Hey Guys, I have a scenario where I need to send multiple emails to the same user email in the same batch but want to keep a separate user profile (different custom attribute values for personalization). But Afaik, braze deduplicates at the send time, so only one email is delivered to a single email ID. use case for this is: let's say a user has 3 different insurance policies but uses the same email for all of them, so we need to send 3 different policy emails to a single email ID in the same batch. any suggestion?Solved307Views0likes5CommentsCustomer Link Analytics
Hi all. Braze provides really good functionality for campaign insights etc, however I am battling to find where in Braze we can view the list of users for a particular campaign that clicked links in our email campaign. i.e What customers clicked what links. Thanks!17Views0likes1Comment
