Lifecycle Engagement Specialist
Location: United States, Remote (select states). Optional hybrid office in Los Angeles, CA
What we're looking for:
InStride is looking for a Lifecycle Engagement Specialist to coordinate and help execute our lifecycle marketing operations. The ideal candidate is a technical individual who has experience developing automated workflows, setting up personalization tools, and working with cross-functional teams.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of lifecycle marketing/marketing automation experience
- Experience working on a cross-channel marketing platform like Iterable, Braze or equivalent
- Experience working with a CDP like Tealium, Segment or equivalent
- Experience building email campaigns, including basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience working with dynamic content in emails (handlebars, liquid logic, data feeds/connected content etc.) and JSON structure for events
- Has experience working with Product and Engineering teams to define and test email triggers
- Strong analytics skills with the ability to report and analyze data as needed
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Process and detail orientation, with strong documentation and project management skills
- High EQ, comfort with a “no job too small” startup mentality and moving quickly on new opportunities
- Experience in B2B2C environment is preferred
How you will create impact:
- Manage day-to-day campaign production, including execution, QA, and reporting across multiple channels (email, SMS, pop-ups, and landing pages).
- Team up with engagement and data tech teams to create and manage reporting needs
- Assist with managing the lifecycle platforms, including troubleshooting, to ensure optimal platform performance
- Oversee campaign nomenclature and hierarchy and update as necessary.
- Building, setting up, and deploying simple to complex automated lifecycle journeys and campaigns across email and push notification channels within the Iterable platform
- Provide support in mapping out detailed learner journey flows, custom event data and all exception scenarios for automated workflows
- Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, Corporate Partner Success and Academic Partner Success teams to support development of solutions for increasing learner engagement, onboarding new corporate/academic partners and launching new education programs
- Execute testing and segmentation strategies that continually optimize and improve existing communications and automated workflows (copy, timing, email design, triggers, etc.)
- Identify new opportunities to drive learner engagement through new technologies or optimizations within our product
Salary Range (Optional): $60,000—$72,000 USD
