How do you manage your offers/promotions?

From what I’ve seen, teams can get pretty far managing promos directly in Braze… until they can’t. The two things that usually break first are attribution (what actually happened to the promo code and the conversion) and control (rules, caps, edge cases, misuse).
That’s typically when an external promo engine starts to make sense, with Braze staying focused on journeys and messaging. I’ve seen a lot of setups over the years and have plenty of stories.
