Can we disable Global Email Subscription Group in Braze?

Ahh, thank you for the additional context here. That's actually one key issue for why it's not recommended to use the Email Subscription Groups as a custom Push Subscription Group.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to disable the Global subscription group. You may have to utilize custom attributes to build this custom push subscription group. Best of luck!

Thanks for your response.
Unsubscribing from the Global Email Subscription Group will automatically unsubscribe the user from all other email and push notification subscription groups (we are going to utilize for Push notifications), which is not the desired outcome. Therefore, disabling the Global subscription group is a viable solution
