Technical Consultant at Ragnarok, Inc.

Ragnarok is a rapidly expanding full-service agency with teams across the globe.  As a marketing and technical consulting agency rolled into one, we bridge the gap between creative, marketing, and technology. We specialize in cross-channel content strategy, creation, distribution (email, paid social, push, SMS, web, video), and MarTech implementations. We work with a wide variety of clients, ranging in size from companies like YETI, Upside, and Nutrafol to established marquee brands like A+E Networks, Afterpay, and Stanley Black & Decker.

We are looking to bring on a full-time Technical Consultant. The ideal candidate should have a particular strength in Customer Data Platforms and invested in growing their skills and experience within the MarTech space. As a Technical Consultant, you will be expected to lead implementations across growth marketing platforms including Braze, Iterable, Segment, mParticle, OneSignal, Mixpanel, and Klaviyo. This involves developing a complete understanding of how each platform works to learn the nuances of integration. This is a full-time, fully remote position, and is client-facing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and consistently communicate project deliverables with clients and internal teams
  • Consult with customers on their marketing use case in order to advise on the set-up and execution of their program in the platform
  • Guide a MarTech platform implementation from beginning to end, leading the documentation/planning process, while effectively managing all Ragnarok deliverables and communications with the client 
  • Recognize opportunities and solutions to key business challenges through technology and provide guidance on getting more value out of current tools
  • Provide support on marketing analytics and reporting, as needed

The ideal candidate:

  • Has superior written skills, epic organization, email etiquette, and communication skills
  • Is a people person. Has a good attitude, friendly, and thrives in a team environment
  • Is a self-starter and motivated
  • Has platform experience with Segment, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, or other email MarTech platforms
  • Understands multi/omni channel transactional and marketing messaging
  • Has familiarity with JSON or SQL
  • Has the ability to clearly articulate/present technical topics to a non-technical audience

Minimum requirements to be considered:

  • 2+ years of experience in client or key stakeholder interaction
  • 2+ years of software implementation support experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
  • Experience with the following (or similar) platforms: Iterable, Braze, Sailthru, Cordial, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Responsys, Cheetahmail, Simondata, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with cross-functional teams including engineers, executives, and stakeholders

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 per year
