How you’ll contribute to our mission

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will report to the VP of Growth Marketing and will work closely with the product, data, and engineering teams to strategically grow the user engagement and revenue. You will be integral in theSkimm’s evolution to becoming a top-tier media and lifestyle brand through your automated CRM campaigns that convert users through each stage of the user journey.

  • Develop and manage CRM marketing campaigns (email, push, SMS, etc) across various stages of the customer journey, including welcome, activation, retention, and reactivation
  • Analyze data and provide insights to optimize campaigns and drive performance
  • Test and experiment with new channels, formats, and tactics to drive growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies, vendors, and technology partners
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase user engagement, retention, and lifetime value
  • Develop and manage marketing automation workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness

You’re ready for this! Here’s a bit more about what we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Experience with segmentation in Customer Data Platforms, bonus points for direct experience with Segment
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management platforms and Email Service Providers, bonus points for direct experience in SailThru
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or related fields
  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue through lifecycle marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 

Salary Range

The expected annual base salary for this role is $100,000-$110,000. We’ll consider a variety of factors when determining the offered base salary including an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, abilities, experience, location, market demands, and internal parity.
