Coordinator, Performance Marketing

Job Description

The Performance Marketing Coordinator will be focused on executing effective performance marketing strategies to meet business goals. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing paid media campaigns, updating our energy marketplaces and digital marketing team duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must have strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate workflows, meet deadlines, and ensure successful project delivery. This role will report to the Sr Analyst, Performance Marketing.

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Execute and optimize paid media campaigns and tests with a focus on growth while achieving KPIs
  • Frequently updating and providing competitive analyses for Energy Marketplace channel 
  • Other digital team duties as assigned to support goals such as creating landing pages using CMS tool, updating ppt slides, writing creative briefs and facilitating feedback with content
 

Responsibilities 

Paid Media Campaign Execution:

  • Set up and optimize paid marketing campaigns on platforms such as Google, Meta, Bing and TikTok
  • Hands-on execution of paid media, including SEM, display, native, and social advertising which will require competitive analysis, keyword research, audience development, creative direction, and ongoing optimization.
  • Meet customer count, CAC, ROI and margin goals 
  • Facilitate creative submissions for ad campaigns & optimize ads. Work alongside a team member in executing campaigns tailored to marketing funnel strategy.
  • Set up landing pages to align with ad campaigns, leveraging copywriting skills and aligning the vision for ad execution. No coding required, in platform setup and receive support from Web Team.
  • Coordinate advertising budget across platforms as well as giving input about budget allocation based on channel performance.
  • Set up, run, and analyze tests (including A/B tests) across platforms to optimize for key KPIs, report out on campaign KPIs, and ensure maximum ROI.   
  • Maintain current and up to date knowledge of paid media and marketplace activities 

Performance Marketing Admin & Project Management:

  • Updating energy marketplace sites on a frequent basis which includes updating rates/pricing, confirming correct data, aligning navigation of backend portal and QAing front end.
  • Coordinate marketing projects by submitting content creative, meeting deadlines, and facilitating workflows across teams.
  • Manage ticket submissions, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration among different departments.
  • Creating trackable URLs for Digital team
  • Frequently update spreadsheets and ppt slides with channel performance pulled from relevant data sources 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 1-3 years experience working with performance marketing conversion campaigns
  • 2+ years experience working hands-on in Ads Manager platforms  (GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) 
  • 1+ years experience working with affiliate marketing tools
  • Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail, makes a habit of double and triple checking work 
  • Ability to think strategically and quantitatively 
  • Excellent time and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying schedules simultaneously 
  • Extremely flexible, agile, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities 
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Google Analytics 4 Certificate, Ads Manager Certificates a plus
  • Hands-on experience in setting up and managing ads within Meta, and Google Ads Manager. Experience in TikTok Ads Manager is a plus.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Linqia and Impact.com is highly desirable.
  • Copywriting and experience working with designers for content assets.
  • Experience using data visualization platforms such as Domo, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau a plus.
  • Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
