For BFCM, it is all about being proactive and personalized! Here are some of my top tips that Braze can help you deliver on this season:

    • Start Early & Segment Deeply: BFCM isn't a single day, it's a season. Leverage pre-sale interest by segmenting customers based on past behavior, browse patterns, and preferences. Braze's robust segmentation allows for micro-segmentation, ensuring relevant messages reach the right audience at the right time and even on the right channel.
    • Orchestrate Cross-Channel Journeys: Don't rely on a single channel. BFCM is noisy. Utilize Braze Canvas to build multi-step, cross-channel journeys that guide customers from initial awareness through purchase and beyond. This means intelligently combining email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messages, and even webhooks for personalized experiences across all touchpoints. We saw a significant increase in multi-step campaigns orchestrated through Braze Canvas during BFCM 2024, demonstrating its effectiveness.
    • Optimize with AI and Experimentation: Leverage AI-powered features for send time optimization and personalized content. A/B testing should be ongoing to identify what resonates best with different segments. Braze Intelligence Suite allows for automated campaign optimization, which is crucial when speed and precision matter most.

And most importantly focus on your customer experience above all else. The customer should be the focus of how you drive your marketing efforts, make sure you are always thinking about them at the center of your strategy since they will be voting with their wallet!
