Kicking off our Braze Data Platform AMA

The Braze Data Platform (BDP) is a comprehensive, composable set of data products and partner integrations, that empowers brands to make their data the fuel for scaled, impactful, cross-channel customer engagement.

Over the years, we’ve been building data products and integrations that help make brands’ data the fuel for impactful customer engagement. As we have talked with our customers – in marketing, data and engineering – we consistently heard that they sought support in 3 areas, to help unlock the value of data for customer engagement: Data Unification, Activation and Distribution.

The BDP brings together all of our existing data products and partner integrations, and includes several exciting new product capabilities:

• CDI Segments – Cloud Data Ingestion (CDI) users can now construct and segment audiences directly from warehouse data, with zero-copy access. This is now available in GA for all CDI partners (Snowflake, AWS Redshift & S3, Google BigQuery and Databricks)
• Enhanced data management capabilities – We recently introduced new capabilities to tag and track data; this is especially helpful as teams work cross-functionally in Braze and manage historical data.
