Hi everyone! I am having a bit of a trouble with orchestrating an email campaign using Audience Paths. The plan is the following. Send 4 emails, each email with a delay and to a different segment. The 1st email is simple/easy and straight forward. It is sent to audience selected at the beggining. The 2nd email is to be sent only to those who did not open the 1st email. So I selected Audience path, assigned group 1 to those who did not open the 1st step of the canvas, being the 1st email. However, the 2nd email was still sent to the wrong # of recipients. Suppose that the 1st email was opened by 22k recipients, I'd expect the 2nd email of the 2nd step, to be sent to the remaining 60k users, since the entire audience that we began with was 82k. The 3rd email, is to be sent only to those who opened the 1st and 2nd email. Same issue happened, with wrong # of recipients set. The 4th email, is to be sent only to those who did not open the 1st and 2nd emails, but also to those who opened the 1st,2nd and 3rd email. I cannot get the correct # of recipients based on these parameters. Should I not use Audience Paths? Is there a bug? As for the delays, they are set correctly, after each email and before the audience path nodes. Any help/ideas would be great to review and attempt. Hi! I am looking to filter on a custom attribute in a canvas audience paths, but I want to do a contains statement. I am trying to reference multiple attributes with out having to list each specific value as the trigger. The attribute naming convention works were I could use contains. Thinking I can use a targeting filter where custom attribute matches regex. However, are there any special characters that need to be added to/around "signup" in the attribute value? Thanks!46Views0likes1CommentUnsubscribing from Subscription Groups
How can we set the unsubscribe to only remove the user from the specific subscription group? We don't want to do this through a preference center. We just want to have a link that automatically removes the user from the specific subscription group that the email was sent to. Also, when importing users via CSV that could be in multiple subscription groups should we handle the subscription_group_id to ensure that overlapping users remain subscribed to both lists? Is it automatic? Or would it override each other?237Views1like5CommentsSegmenting on custom event properties without exact match
Wondering if there's any smart ways around this. We have a "UI - PageLoad" custom event with some property parameters that reports whenever a user visits a page on our platform. It includes custom properties for pathName e.g. "/some-page-url" host e.g. "sub.ourdomain.com" When I build a segment that uses X Custom Event Property in Y Days, there's only an 'exact' match option. i.e. There's no way to build a filter that would be 'anyone with the UI Page Load event where the pathname includes {text} somewhere in the value. Essentially, trying to build a filter that would encompass multiple pages visited that all share a consistent text string in the pathname somewhere. e.g. matching any of /articles/number-one, /articles-number-two etc etc159Views1like2CommentsGuidance on Limiting Audience per Experiment Path in Canvas
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some guidance on a use case I'm currently working on. I want to implement a spinning wheel IAM using a single Canvas that includes 5 experiment paths. The goal is to limit the number of users entering each path — for example: Offer A (Path A): 150 users Offer B (Path B): 100 users And so on... While the experiment path node in Canvas allows user distribution using percentage splits, I’ve found that it doesn't always behave as expected — especially with small total audience sizes (e.g. 10–20 users). During a live test with internal team members, the users were not evenly distributed across paths, despite using balanced percentage settings. My questions: Is there a minimum user count required for the experiment path % splits to work accurately? Is there any official documentation explaining how this percentage-based distribution works under the hood? As an alternative, I’m considering building 5 separate Canvases or campaigns, each with entrance caps to control how many users receive each offer. However, it would be ideal if Canvas supported audience caps per path directly. Any tips, documentation, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Braze Selections continue to be an exciting feature for streamlining and automation. What's amazing is that the selection filter values accept Liquid, something that's not possible in the regular audience filter in Campaigns/Canvases. Dynamic entry is one area where we continue to run into hurdles with Braze, although with the introduction of Context Steps, we're hopeful that this will change in the future. Check out this video to learn how we're sending PERSONALIZED RECOMMENDATIONS using Braze Catalog Selections!

My company is a B2B banking platform, and our current product marketing approach follows a traditional deterministic model, relying on 'if-then' logic. However, we want to move beyond static flowcharts and drip campaigns to a more dynamic, data-driven next-best action model. I’d love to hear recommendations on where to start. What are the key steps to making this transition successful? And how can I best equip my data team with the insights and resources they need to build an effective system?155Views0likes2CommentsCustom Event + Properties
So, I am triggering a few custom events which contains a few properties as below appointment_booked (appt_time, appt_location, app_details, appt_virtual) all strings except for appt_virtual which is boolean In canvas config, I am segmenting users which has received the appt_virtual event more than 0 times I have a action path activity with x2 actions (performed custom event appt_virtual where appt_virtual is true) and the other action where is false. all users are going to the "everything else" path? why ? and decision split or audience path doesnt allow me to filter based on the custom event properties, whats going on? why such limitation. whats the correct way to configure it?249Views0likes2Comments
