Technical CRM Specialist

This position is located in Tempe, AZ and is required to be in-office Monday-Thursday.

Dutch Bros is on the hunt for a Technical CRM Specialist who’s ready to shake things up with the Braze platform. You'll be crafting kick-ass, personalized canvases using all the fancy features Braze has to offer.

We want someone who’s not just into CRM tech but is downright obsessed with it. You should want to push the envelope with creative, way-out-there ideas. We’re moving fast here, and we need you to keep up and stand out.

Your role with the Team

Our Digital Engagement team is the powerhouse behind Dutch Bros, teaming up with folks from marketing, IT, ops, dev, architecture, and retail to amp up our tech game and boost experiences for everyone. The end game? More visits and higher spend from our custies.

As a Technical CRM Specialist, you’ll be smack in the middle of the action, rolling out customer journeys and on-the-fly campaigns utilizing the Braze platform. You’ll be crafting personalized, punchy campaigns that hit the mark every time. Frightening new ideas excite you. You can’t wait to do some wild stuff in Braze. You’ll be backed by a leadership team who will want you to explore and test new capabilities in Braze. The leadership team makes fast decisions and will trust you as the Braze subject matter expert.

Key Result Areas:

Roll out deep, multi-layered customer journeys using the Braze platform.

  • Get complex customer journeys up and running on Braze, making sure every interaction is smartly automated and connected.
  • Personalize messages at each step using Braze’s dynamic content and Liquid templates, based on what we know about each user’s likes and habits.
  • Keep an eye on how these journeys roll out in real time, tweak things as needed based on how customers are responding and how well the campaigns are doing.
  • Always be tweaking and improving based on what tests and feedback tell us, aiming to keep boosting how well our campaigns work and making our customers happier.

Test like crazy to crank up the results.

  • Use A/B and multivariate testing to figure out what parts of our campaigns work best, from the words we use to when and to whom we send them.
  • Keep a close eye on campaign data to spot trends, check how we're doing against our goals, and find spots where we can do better.
  • Establish and continuously update a set of best practices for campaign execution based on tested and proven approaches that enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.

Dive into the cool, advanced features of the Braze platform. 

  • Dive deep into Braze's advanced features, like AI-driven segmentation and predictive analytics, to ramp up the personal touch and power of our marketing campaigns.
  • Get involved in the Braze community, casting votes on roadmap items in the portal and pushing for features that match our strategic needs.
  • Become a go-to Braze expert in our team, setting the standard for how we use and excel with Braze's tools and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of trial and error, experimenting with fresh campaign ideas, measuring their impact, and making quick adjustments based on what we learn.

Job Qualifications

  • May or may not have a degree… we don’t care.
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver (can you google a question?).
  • Knows Braze really well… or is confident they can figure it out.
  • Is SUPER comfortable with technology and wants to be part of a winning team.
  • Prides themselves in being super responsive.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Phoenix.
