Senior Lifecycle Specialist - Trade Me, New Zealand

We have an opportunity for a Senior Lifecycle Specialist to join our awesome Consumer and Marketplace (CMP) Marketing team. Utilising your knowledge of consumer behaviour and insights derived from our expansive data set you'll develop, manage and deliver cross-channel journeys and communications that help drive revenue, audience growth and engagement across CMP.

Here's what you can expect from this role:

  • Work closely with Product, Martech and Analyst teams to create cross-channel journeys for our key customer segments with clear communication plans
  • Based on customer understanding and data, create and send targeted automated and dynamic communications across the following platforms: email, push notifications, in app notifications and content cards
  • Using great research and writing skills, and working closely with the wider marketing team, designers and automation analysts you will develop, design, write and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns to a market leading level.
  • Regularly review the performance of new and existing lifecycle campaigns to see how they can be further improved.
  • Maintain a continuous focus on test and learning with clear hypothesis and testing plans
  • Become a proficient user of Braze and understand how we can use the platform to create relevant and data driven messages. Keep across enhancements to the platform and share those across the team.
  • Ensure our communications are compliant with anti-spam legislation and ensure our members are not over contacted or receiving conflicting messages.

What you will bring to our team:

  • Experience in email campaign development, execution and delivery. A focus on lifecycle emails is a bonus.
  • Previous Experience working in a Marketing Automation platform. Braze would be a big advantage
  • The ability to use data to create and assess customer engagement and lifecycle nurture programmes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication as you'll be writing content for our engagement programmes.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, demonstrating high levels of initiative.
  • An energetic and collaborative team player
