The role

Having developed a large, rapidly-expanding, multi-million customer database here at Motorway, we are looking for a customer driven, ambitious CRM Executive to help build and evolve a best-in-class user experience across email, in-app messaging, Push and SMS.

We are looking for a proactive Senior Executive with ruthless attention to detail who is comfortable working within a fast-moving growth environment.

You will be deeply involved in the design and execution of all communications (copy, creative, design and messaging) to improve customer experience and conversion. You will report into the Senior CRM Manager, working closely with key stakeholders across Motorway's Marketing, Product, Strategy, BI, Sales and Customer Support teams.

Motorway has two key customer audiences: millions of consumers annually looking to sell their car, and thousands of professional car dealers across the UK, which use our platform to acquire stock. This role is primarily focused on both B2B activity designed to acquire and retain car dealers, with some focus on B2C too, acquiring and retaining Sellers. It's a hugely exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating, optimising and executing email campaigns
  • Supporting our Senior CRM Manager with strategy and growth initiatives
  • Building out targeted, automated journeys
  • Regular impact and performance reporting
  • Generating campaign performance reports to share with the wider business
  • Working with copywriters and designers to create engaging content
  • Identifying trends, challenges and opportunities to drive revenue via CRM
  • Managing and updating templates for automated and triggered campaigns
  • Working with our Customer Support and Sales team to optimise email content and other automated comms

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working in CRM/ e-mail marketing
  • Previous experience from a similar role in a fast-paced growth company
  • Experience in working with ESPs/ marketing automation platforms (experience using Braze is desirable, but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills with a self-starter mindset
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • A customer-centric approach to your work. You'll be able to balance commercial requirements while keeping customer experience in mind, to ensure our CRM is impactful and delivered in the most relevant, helpful way possible for every cohort
  • HTML skills (desirable, but not essential)
  • A great communicator able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
  • A positive attitude, and a team player
