Folder Structures vs Tagging vs Grouping

My team produces 15-20 stand alone emails a week, while also supporting automated campaigns.

Is there a way in Braze to set up a folder structure that can visualize the large amount of emails that my team produces similar to a folder structure?

The groupings filter seems to be locked down to predefined categories—is there a way to add your own groupings?

Applying and searching on tags seems rather inefficient to a visually mapped system and I'm seeking alternatives within Braze.

Some examples of tagging solutions would be helpful if this is the only option.

  • Hi Jacob,

This is a great question and a great product feedback for Braze. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to set up a folder structure or create new grouping methods.

However, I do find the nested tag capability quite helpful, and you could definitely try to get creative with this approach. Some ideas I see based on what you shared:

    • A tag for "automation" vs "one-time"
    • A tag for each member of the team
    • A tag for the types of stand alone emails you send
    • A tag for the week or month of campaign-created date
    • Any combination of the above bullets in a nested-tag format.

    Hope this is helpful!
