  • Good one AllanHeo , very handy guide. I use postman to log custom events and fire away into my test instance in braze exactly the same way you have described. I will already have a canvas or campaign ready with message personalised through the event properties and targeting my profile in dev.  When I submit the test event in postman to the users/track end point, I am able to see the event properties in action on my email or phone 🙂 I am yet to try this set up for Push and IAM yet, hopefully this will work fine in those channels as well.

  • Raj, that's exactly it! I used to use Postman to do exactly what you just described. Over the years, I've found that using Braze webhooks is just a bit quicker.

For Push, you should have no problem doing the same testing. For IAM, this won't work; IAMs can only be triggered by SDK events, NOT API events.
