Hey Bonfire friends! You may notice things look a little different around here. We took your feedback over the last year to heart and have been hard at work behind the scenes to make your experience even better. These updates will make navigating our community simpler, more engaging, and a whole lot more fun. Hereâs a rundown of whatâs new:
đ A faster, simpler registration and login experience
Logging in and registering should be simple and easyânow it is! Account creation is much simpler in the new experience, and even better is a streamlined login experience. Weâve reduced the number of clicks to access content, introduced an interstitial instead of multiple screens, and maintained the ability to log in and create an account using LinkedIn or email.
3ď¸âŁ Three new forums: Channels, Orchestration, Data
We heard that sometimes itâs hard to find conversations in a single space, especially as the discussion volume has grown. Breaking up is not hard to do in this case! Weâve split The Forum into three separate discussion spaces: Channels, Orchestration, and Data. This change will help you find the topics and conversations that are most relevant to your interests and expertise. Dive in and start sharing your knowledge!
đ Updated Tags and descriptions
Weâve updated the tags to align better with your discussions and the topics that youâre searching for. Plus, weâve refreshed the descriptions of each community component to better reflect their purpose and what to expect in the space.
⨠Simplified navigation: say hello to "Getting Started"
Weâve waved goodbye to The Hub and streamlined your entry point into the community with our new Getting Started section. This will be your go-to spot for all the essential info you need to navigate Braze Bonfire like a pro.
â Familiar sections get a new home: Braze News, Connection Lounge, and more!
Under the Getting Started section, youâll now find dropdowns for Braze News, Connection Lounge, and more. These sections are designed to keep you informed and connected with the latest updates and community happenings and with each other.
đĽ Community member activity front and center
Weâve removed the Featured Articles from the homepage to put the spotlight on youâour amazing community members. Now, youâll see the latest community member activity first thing, without having to scroll. To make it easier to find questions to answer and to find answers to questions, you can also see product and industry discussions in the Activity Feed without having to login. Itâs all about celebrating your contributions and getting you to the answers you're seeking!
đ¤ Groups and Events: together at last
Weâve combined Events and Groups into a single section called Groups and Events. Under this, youâll find dropdowns for Community Groups and Events, making it easier to find your people and and join the conversations and happenings that matter to you.
đĽ Introducing Built on Braze
Our Community Blog has a fresh new name: Built on Braze. This is where youâll find inspiring stories, tips, and insights from fellow Braze users. Itâs your space to share and learn from each otherâs experiences. Don't forget â you can earn points and move up the ranks by writing articles and sharing your tricks for getting great results by building on Braze.
đ§ Streamlined structure
Weâve also updated the structure of our forum boards, blog boards, and Braze News pages to make everything more intuitive and user-friendly. Itâs all about making your experience smoother and more enjoyable.
We hope you love these changes as much as we do! Hop in, explore the new features, and let us know what you think. Your feedback is what makes Braze Bonfire the vibrant, supportive community it is.
