What is Body clicks in in-app message?

'Body clicks' appears constantly in the in-app message by custom HTML.

We created custom HTML designed all clickable areas - image, CTA button, close button, background.

I know 'Body clicks' is when a user click on a non clickable area of in-app message, but our template has not non-clickable area. Users can click all area of screen(contained background)

Why 'Body clicks' appear in our custom template?

  • Hi NNT

Here is explaination of body clicks from the Braze docs

    Body Clicks

Occurs when someone clicks on any of the following in-app message types:

    • Slide-up
    • Modal
    • Fullscreen that has no buttons

It is not a non-clickable area according to this but any clickable area. I'd need to confirm but it likely accounts for any clicks that are likely not attributed to a specific ID or Class in your HTML, or it may get counted against both in that case. E.g. 1 body click + 1 click on CTA.
