Elle is the Braze Employee Resource Group dedicated to empowering women across Braze and our wider community. It is our mission to empower women and their allies through a platform aimed at advancing personal and professional growth opportunities.

Through Elle, we want to empower women to take their seat at the table. Elle—which stands for Engage, Learn, Lead, and Empower—was founded in 2018 by a group of Braze women who were passionate about supporting women within and outside the business.

Today, our initiatives and programs are designed to ladder up to those individual pillars in order to ensure focus and intention around our events. These initiatives include mentorship programs, a woman of the month award, a speaker series, leadership training, social gatherings and other fun activities, and programs that provide attendees with tools to support each other and the wider community. This holiday season, we also created an Elle Holiday Lookbook to raise awareness for the entrepreneurial women at Braze who are monetizing their passions through their very own side hustles. You can take a look here

Elle Holiday LookbookHere’s a deeper look at our values:

  • Engage: We curate and coordinate engaging 1:1 human connections to build a strong community of women and allies across the globe.
  • Learn: We support women at Braze by amplifying their work and educating the community on issues that impact women in the workplace.
  • Lead: We build a community of leaders by engaging women with professional development opportunities and enhancing business outcomes.
  • Inspire: We empower women to use their voice, communicate confidently, and take their seat at the table.
