The reason I have so many variants is the occasional campaign which has 9-10 segments that each have their own creative and that I want to report on engagement within Braze rather beyond just using liquid logic. Re: Link usage within Catalogs I use URLs in catalogs too. You need to hardcode the utm tags in the catalog URLs. Re: Do you use control groups in your Canvas set up? I usually don't use control groups and the main reason is I usually forget. Having said that, our email sends aren't huge so I do feel that a control group is a bit on the small side and therefore won't give statistically significant results - not that it won't provide any insight. I've typically worked with companies that have conversion objectives that are longer term, so I think things like sales or very fast paced industries will probably benefit from control groups a little more (e.g. promotions, sales etc). I am thinking about setting up a global control group moving forward though as I think this gives a better overall view of effectiveness at a longer term lifecycle level. Re: Inserting a recommendation in a message I previously used connected content, but now use catalogs across email, in-app message and push channels. Limitation wise, I haven’t come across any, but my use cases have been fairly straightforward. Something to note is with image dimensions, so in catalogs, I just make sure I have the right image sizing per channel. Re: How do I tell what cluster I'm in? This is correct 🙂 Email engagement metrics Hey Bonfire group, I've noticed a decline in overall email engagement over the past month, specifically in terms of open and click rates. Sends and deliverability remain as normal for our comms which are a mix of scheduled and triggered sends. I was wondering if there is a chance that since our comms update, the email might be moved to different folders in an inbox e.g. Gmail -> Promotions. Is there any way to see or know about this? Additionally, we haven't changed our audience and in fact optimised several of our email communications from a creative side of things. Conversions are increasing which is a good sign. Wondering if there if anyone else here has observed the same thing or could provide any thoughts or insights - would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Alex
