Hey everyone, To keep it short, what do you think are some key features / scenarios that would be great for "How To" videos for Braze? Was planning to start recording some, but would love to get some more ideas from the community. Here are a few ideas: Liquid - what it is and a few use cases. Promotion Codes - how to set them up and how they work. Campaign / Canvas Analytics - understanding the screen and importance of conversion events. Webhooks - Basic explanation and a complex use case for internal usage. Content Blocks - Beyond the simple usage, creating complex logic. Currents - Why it's so important & how to set them up. Let me know what you think! Re: Contract Braze Specialist (~10hrs/week, Remote) Hey Laura, Be happy to chat and hear more about the expectations for the project. If you're doing it via an InApp, you can use this function :brazeBridge.requestPushPermission(successCallback, deniedCallback) which should display the request box as you're after. Otherwise it's device dependent, so you should check the documentation. Re: Update a custom attribute for a user based on email button click? HeySarah1- there are quite a few ways you could tackle this in my opinion, but first you'd need to create a segment depending on the goal if it is either "clicked in ANY email" or "clicked in a specific campaign" or "clicked on a specific link within an email": 1. You can create a canvas that will capture users who enter the segment and with a user update step in the canvas you can update an attribute. 2. You can run a Webhook campaign based on the same trigger / segment which will run an API call internally and update the custom attribute. Either scenarios would work for you, but need to establish what is the criteria for the trigger first. Best, Re: Segments: X Custom Event in Y Days - is it possible to increase Y Days up to 360? Selman_Balci- You can create multiple extensions based on whatAllanHeomentioned and then create a regular segment such as "Exists in X Segment Extensions OR exists in Y Segment Extension". Hope that's what you were referring to for the need for multiple events. I often used anecdotal stories. i.e. Had a client whose CEO insisted to send a message out to entire DB 3 years back, irrelevant of engagement and my serious pushback / warnings and due that they had a 9 month long battle with IP Reputation, spam lists etc. Always better to start small (in terms of audience sizes but also messaging frequency), establish benchmarks and expand from there. More often than not, precise messaging works far better than broad unsegmented. Re: Schedule action based canvas on weekdays only Just to clarify, you want to send a message based on the day of the week that the email was opened? Not sure that's possible without some serious API calls to pull in campaign data for a specific user and then using it to query based on the timestamp of the open event.
