Help! Email Sends Are higher than Unique recipients Why?

Hi Beautiful community, 

Today we had a discussion in my team regarding "sends" in a canvas flow, Why in this case the email sends are higher than the unique recipients? What are the factors affecting that "send" KPI to be higher?
