Want to target prospects by their timezone but I am unable to filter by the TimeZone attribute

Hi all, seeking some help from the community. We are planning to target prospective clients for a custom offer but restricting to specific states. To achieve this in Braze canvas we are trying to target the prospect segment membership and exclude the states through filtering by TimeZone attribute. Though we can see the TimeZone as a custom attribute in the user profile for the prospects they were not available for the filter criteria in the canvas. Can anyone suggest an alternative way how to make this work?

Sorr for the delay @ConorIrvine , currently we capture prospects (unauthenticated customers/visitors) data using braze SDKs from users' browser settings, I know this is not ideal but we are working towards a dev solution towards collecting data from IP logins, is there a better way to sync location (states and other granular data if possible) for unknown profiles and segment them so we can filter users based on locations and tailor our offerings accordingly.
