Ideas for email open and click through rate testing

Hi all

Just wondering what sort of tests others use to test open rate and click-through rate. For example:
- Subject lines
- Time of day
- CTA wording
- Localisation

Would love to gather a laundry list of ideas to experiment with. 📃😁

    Laundry list, not anything I'd necessarily advocate for.

    • Style of personalisation.
    • Content of images (the traditional, with/without a person is always fun to prove)
    • Number and position of CTA
    • There's always someone usually wants to test preheader text
    • Day of week
    • From name

    It's early though, and my brain isn't quite up to room temperature yet, so there's probably more.
