This role sits at the intersection of lifecycle strategy, systems operations, and product partnership—owning how, when, and why we engage members across email, push, and in-app channels.
You will lead the operational engine behind lifecycle communications and product marketing messaging, evolving it into an AI-native, automated, and highly scalable engagement system that drives both business outcomes and clinical impact.
This role reports to the Head of Member Comms & Content and is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, builds scalable systems, and translates product and clinical priorities into meaningful member behavior change.
As a Braze Lifecycle Manager (AI) at Maven, you will:
Own lifecycle operations & systems
- Lead end-to-end execution and optimization of lifecycle journeys across email, push, and in-app messaging
- Own Braze as the system of record for lifecycle communications, including segmentation, personalization, QA, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Maintain orchestration logic, journey hygiene, and overall system integrity across all lifecycle programs
Build an AI-native lifecycle engine
- Identify and implement opportunities for AI-driven personalization, automation, and journey optimization
- Partner with Data and Product teams to evolve toward trigger-based, adaptive, and predictive lifecycle systems
- Reduce manual execution through scalable workflows, modular templates, and automation frameworks
Drive intake, prioritization, and operational excellence
- Manage cross-functional intake from Product, Clinical, Marketing, and other teams
- Own ticketing, prioritization, and delivery workflows (e.g., Jira), ensuring clarity, transparency, and timely execution
- Serve as the connective layer between strategic intent and operational delivery
Partner deeply with Product & Clinical teams
- Translate product launches, feature updates, and clinical protocols into lifecycle strategies that drive adoption and behavior change
- Embed lifecycle thinking early into the product development lifecycle
- Ensure messaging is tightly aligned with in-product experiences and clinical guidance
Drive engagement, retention, and behavior change
- Lead initiatives that improve activation, retention, re-engagement, and program enrollment
- Identify drop-offs and friction points in member journeys and design targeted interventions
- Support clinical and care outcomes (e.g., adherence, care plan completion) through lifecycle touch points
Lead with data and experimentation
- Use analytics to identify performance gaps, opportunities, and behavioral insights
- Design and run A/B tests and ongoing experimentation programs
- Report on lifecycle performance across engagement, retention, and clinical outcome metrics
Uphold a high bar for member experience
- Ensure all communications meet high standards for clarity, tone, accessibility, and inclusivity
- Maintain consistency across channels, programs, and journeys
- Continuously improve the member experience through iteration, feedback, and insight
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, member communications, or product communications
- Deep hands-on experience with Braze (segmentation, canvases, personalization, and reporting)
- Proven success improving engagement, retention, or behavior change through lifecycle programs
- Experience managing complex, cross-channel lifecycle ecosystems
- Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution
- Comfort working with analytics tools, dashboards, and experimentation frameworks
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable lifecycle improvements
- Interest in building AI-native lifecycle capabilities (e.g., predictive triggers, dynamic personalization)
- Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and/or Clinical teams
- Ability to translate complex product or clinical concepts into clear, human member communications
