I'm trying to clean up our Content Blocks and Email Templates in Braze and can't find a clear delete option. Is there a way to permanently delete a Content Block or Email Template, or is archiving the only option?
Hi @ninjasupreme In Braze, you can’t permanently delete Content Blocks or Email Templates; archiving is the supported cleanup option. Archived items can be unarchived later, Content Blocks must first be removed from every message using them, and active campaigns can continue using archived Email Templates without interruption. Braze does not document a specific reason deletion is unavailable, but archiving protects active message dependencies and preserves recoverability. Content Block archiving · Template archiving
