So my most important learning was this: if you can attend Forge, do it! Besides that, seeing how we will be able to use AI to run real-time tests and optimizations in relation to audience engagement was eye-opening. We are always making our emails more impactful though dynamic and bespoke content, but being able to determine which version a specific recipient will get (as opposed to an AB test & selecting the winner) is a huge step towards even more personalized comms. Re: Question for the Grubhub team on marketing team structure Until recently the B2B2C marketing teams (which consists of our Driver, Merchant, Campus, and Corporate teams) sat within our Operations organization. The latest re-organization has brought together all the marketing teams from across the business (B2B2C, Consumer, and Brand) under the Growth umbrella. We’re very excited about this, as it will help the company create holistic messaging that resonates across the marketplace, and enable us to further align thematically and create a seamless transition between our B2B2C and B2C marketing efforts. It's worth noting that in our sister company in the UK, Just Eat, the Merchant Marketing team has also sat within the Commercial org. Having seen this team logically fit into three organizational structures serves to underline & reinforce the notion that at its core, this team truly needs to operate cross-functionally and is a critical lynchpin between stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach.
