About the Role
Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract.
The Customer Engagement Manager’s scope covers the execution and optimisation of our core marketing activity, customer journey and tactical campaigns. The role covers identifying target audiences or behaviour cohorts, pulling customer segment data (working with the Data Analyst) messaging & creative development (with the creative team) or creation of custom user journeys as required. Broadly this includes eDM, web and app push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS and other channels as they emerge and become relevant. You will be an expert across our customer platforms and work comfortably across our owned channels, pulling together campaign insights and strategies.
In this role, you are a channel leader who can deliver results. You possess a deep understanding of benchmarks by channel and actively work to build and execute cross-channel campaign strategies to maximise the marketable database through experimentation.
Working with Customer Engagement team on campaigns to convert or retain customers as Monthly Active Users
Liaise with the Retail and Client Service teams to run E2E execution of campaigns independently across owned-channels (including but not limited to eDM, push notifications, pop-ups, and SMS)
Liaise with internal stakeholders (Marketing & Data) to ensure campaigns are executed across consumer touchpoints effectively and efficiently
Help bring the Customer Engagement strategy to life by developing marketing experiments that contribute to customer growth & engagement
Ideation, execution, analysis and optimisation of growth marketing experiments
Regularly present and share post campaign analysis
Ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and in a timely manner
Well developed previous marketing experience delivering on business objectives
Highly desirable to have Braze and mParticle experience
Comfortable managing customer engagement communications across owned channels and always looking to grow expertise of new channels
Understanding of marketing objectives and key results, and how our activity contributes to marketing performance
Sound commercial awareness, but with member engagement at the forefront of your mind
Able to confidently present insights and feedback to internal stakeholders
Interest in automation and personalisation to improve delivery of campaigns
Sound knowledge across all platforms used to execute and/or analyse owned-channel activity
Ability to perform intermediate-level troubleshooting across these platforms.
Able to identify growth optimisation opportunities across these platforms and develop own campaign testing strategies
